Downtown dining is about to get a whole lot better.
The masterminds and family behind At the Corner have unveiled their plan to open a second restaurant: Henrietta’s. Sticking to the downtown neighborhood, the new restaurant will be located in the former Andina Cafe space at the corner of Third Street and River Market Avenue.
Since opening At the Corner in 2015, the King family has been toying with the idea of another restaurant in the neighborhood. While At the Corner is open for breakfast, brunch and lunch, Henrietta’s will be open morning through evening with a focus on local seasonal produce and modern plates and drinks.
“Henrietta’s has always been part of our future restaurant ideas,” co-owner Helen Grace King says. “We knew she would come to fruition when the time and space were right. Third Street is one of our favorite spots in Little Rock. We love the vibes of the neighborhood and surrounding businesses.”
Henrietta’s is in the very first stages of development, and the King family invites the public to follow along on the journey with them via social media. Expect to see updates on construction, design and peeks at the menu in the coming months.

As for the name, that’s something close to the hearts of the King family.
“Henrietta is a family name,” King says. “It belonged to our great grandfather’s sister, Henrietta Wilkins. Henrietta traveled the world with the Red Cross. Her name means ‘Keeper of the Hearth,’ the home. Something we will embody at Henrietta’s!”
Follow along on Instagram and Facebook as we anxiously await the opening of Henrietta’s in 2020.
