The Arkansas Symphony Orchestra is rolling out its first-ever membership program for a cool $9 monthly subscription. Beginning on Aug. 1, ASO regulars will have the opportunity to become Concert Members who can attend an unlimited number of subscription concerts (such as Masterworks, Pops Live!, River Rhapsodies and Intimate Neighborhood Concerts) at no additional cost.
In addition to concert tickets, members will receive other benefits like advance notice of special events and promotions. Members can choose from the best available seats in selected seating sections before concerts or at the box office two hours before all ASO concerts.
In a recent press release, Heather Honaker, the ASO’s chief revenue officer, says this new membership model is just another way to connect with the community. “Not only does this program give members an easy, hassle-free way to attend all concerts, but it also allows any person interested in the symphony an accessible way to get involved and learn more,” she says.
Signing up is as simple as filling out a short form that includes opting in to a monthly auto-draft. Members will continue to have access to every ASO subscription concert unless the member contacts the ASO box office to stop the membership.
For patrons attending concerts in pairs, a double concert membership is available for $18 per month, which allows members to easily select seats together when claiming their tickets. Concert Members can begin selecting their concerts online on Aug. 28. Seating is based on availability, and some restrictions apply. Full details are available here.
