Arkansas Arts Center Executive Director Dr. Todd Herman to Teach Western Art Course

The Arkansas Arts Center will feature a “A Survey of Western Art” course taught by its very own executive director, Dr. Todd Herman

Along with his role at the AAC, Dr. Herman is also an Italian Renaissance and Baroque scholar with a Ph.D. in art history from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.

In this special opportunity lecture series, Dr. Herman will examine the visual arts of Europe and America chronologically and thematically in the facets of artistic practices, movements, aesthetics, patronage, religion and formal analysis.

The class meets every Thursday from 10-11:30 a.m. for 16 weeks from Jan.15 – April 30.
