The AMC Chenal 9 movie theater at The Promenade got a major facelift.
The nine-screen theater underwent a $3 million renovation after it was bought by AMC Theatres, a company based out of Leawood, Kansas. AMC Theatres is the largest movie theater chain in America with multiple locations across Arkansas including Fayetteville, Fort Smith, Hot Springs and Batesville.
The newly improved Little Rock location boasts seriously comfy reclining seats, reserved seating, an IMAX screen, new speakers and sound systems, an expanded concession menu and a soon-to-be-open bar serving drinks you can take with you into the movie.
Oh, and when the bar opens next Friday, May 25, it will serve up imaginative beverages inspired by the movies currently playing. Cheers to that.
