Arkansas Shakespeare Theatre Returns for 12th Season

Calling all Shakespeare lovers. The Bard is back with the Arkansas Shakespeare Theatre‘s 2018 season taking place June 8 – July 8.

The troupe’s 12th season comprises the playwright’s “Much Ado About Nothing,” “Henry IV Part One” and “The Winter’s Tale,” as well as a production of Lerner and Loewe’s “My Fair Lady.”

Here’s when to mark your calendars.

  • “The Winter’s Tale” — June 8-9, 17, 24, 28, 30; July 4, 6
  • “My Fair Lady” — June 15-16, 24, 27; July 1, 3-4, 7
  • “Henry IV Part One” — June 22-23, 26, 29-30; July 5, 8
  • “Much Ado About Nothing” — June 28-29; July 3-5, 7

Performances will take place at a variety of venues, primarily at the Donald W. Reynolds Performance Hall, but also outdoors at The Lawn, both on UCA’s campus. 

Arkansas Shakespeare Theatre also announced it will offer a sensory-friendly performance of “Much Ado About Nothing” on Thursday, July 5.
