Noted Authors, Artists, Musicians Among Those at Arkansas Literary Festival

Professionals of all kinds are on the slate for this year’s Arkansas Literary Festival

The annual event is set for April 24-27 at the Central Arkansas Library System’s main campus, in addition to various venues across the capital city.

Among the more than 80 presenters this year are authors Catherine Coulter, Mary Roach, ReShonda Tate Billingsley and Curtis Sittenfeld, Congressman John Lewis, artists and illustrator Kadir Nelson, musician Rhett Miller and education expert David L. Kirp.

This year’s presenters have had work featured in publications such as the New York Times, Rolling Stone, Bon Appétit, Glamour, Slate and the Washington Post, among others. The awards among them include, ten Emmy awards, two Pulitzer Prizes, the National Book Award and multiple National Endowment for the Arts fellowships and grants, among many other accolades.
