Upcoming Argenta Community Theater Shows to Benefit Wolfe Street Foundation

The Argenta Community Theater in North Little Rock will host two upcoming events benefitting the Wolfe Street Foundation, an establishment that works through people recovering from alcoholism and their families.

The first event is a performance from the world-renown Alloy Orchestra on Oct. 7. The orchestra will present the musical score to the Rudolf Valentino classic silent film “The Son of the Sheik” in a one-time show that starts at 7 p.m.

The three-man ensemble weave together sounds with state-of-the-art electronics and found percussion in an endless array of styles, ranging anywhere from a French symphony to a 1920’s German bar band. Their unlikely sound has been featured  across the world from the Louvre to the Lincoln Center, and finally making their way to central Arkansas.

On Nov. 21-23, back by popular demand, the theater will present “Pass it On,” the off-Broadway story of Bill W. and Dr. Bob, the founders of Alcoholics Anonymous.
