Feast Your Eyes on These Little Rock Holiday Light Displays

Let there be lights!

Like moths to the flame, we can’t help but float toward the glow of holiday lights. And no, we do not regard this as a problem.

The Little Rock metro has its fair share of ogle worthy displays that you definitely don’t want to miss out on. Here’s a small sample of what the area has to offer, but don’t let that stop you from driving laps around each neighborhood to find the hidden gems.

Just keep in mind that if you can’t find us at any given time this season, there’s a high probability we’re at one of these hot spots.

Holidays in the Park – First Security Amphitheater

Nightly 5:30 p.m.-10 p.m. through Jan. 3

Not just any old amphitheater, the Riverfront Park stage has been transformed into a sparkling winter wonderland. It’s a brand new display, complete with a 10-minute show choreographed to music.

Arkansas State Capitol

Interior open weekdays 8 a.m.-5 p.m., weekends 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

This is the big one, folks, the one that catches your eye from miles away. Believe us when we say it’s so much more impressive up close. Go during business hours and check out the 25-foot Rockefeller pine tree rotunda, including the blown glass tree topper handcrafted by Arkansan James Hayes.

Hometown Holiday Lights – Burns Park

Nightly (except Christmas night) 6-10 p.m. through Dec. 30

Pile everyone into one car, B.Y.O.H.C. (Bring Your Own Hot Chocolate) and head to North Little Rock for this drive-through show with more than 40 displays. Start at the Softball Complex and continue down Funland Drive, ending at Military Drive. There’s no admission this year, but donations are welcome.

7th Annual Celebration of Lights – The Promenade at Chenal

Nightly 5-11 p.m. through Dec. 31

We know you still have shopping to do, so why not absorb a little Christmas cheer while you’re at it? The Promenade’s 26-foot tree is choreographed to holiday music and puts on a different show every hour.
