What shingles should I use to get an insurance discount?
You should definitely upgrade your roof to a Class 3, or if within your budget, Class 4. Many insurance companies offer discounts for upgrades.
What type of ventilation works best for my roof?
Depending on the style of roof and customer preference, we would recommend LOR-30 ridge vents or Lomanco 14-inch wind turbines to cover a 20-foot diameter of attic space.
Do I need drip edge for extra protection?
Depending on the wood, or vinyl siding makes a difference, and also if space allows. Sometimes gutters don’t allow enough room for drip edge.
Will a dark shingle cause my attic to get hotter?
No, as long as we have adequate ventilation, the color does not make a difference.
Can you meet with my adjuster for an insurance claim?
Absolutely. If you schedule a time with your adjuster and notify us, we will be able to arrange a meeting.
