Southern Tail Brewing to Host Inaugural 3492 Fest This Summer

One local brewery is bringing a new kind of party to the Fourth of July festivities. On Friday, July 3, Southern Tail Brewing will host the inaugural 3492 Fest on its Ninth Street grounds.

The festival’s name is a nod to Little Rock’s geographical coordinates — 34 north, 92 west — and will bring a full lineup of live music, vendors and activities to the East Village. Alongside Southern Tail’s craft brews and popular menus, they’re also partnering with Warfield Distillery to offer a wide variety of drink options.

Taking the stage at 3492 Fest will be local favorites Trey Johnson, The Cons of Formant, The Church Fires, The Big Dam Horns, Midnight South, Laura Caroline, Bryan Copeland and Bree Ogden, utilizing Southern Tail’s expansive patio and lawn.

According to brewery co-founder Tracy Cryder, the festival is designed to celebrate our spot on the map, with branding imagery showcasing the state flower, bird and butterfly, along with Little Rock’s position on the Arkansas River. Sustainable packaging is also a priority for organizers looking to keep The Natural State natural.

“3492 Fest is Southern Tail’s way to bring the community together, celebrating great music, great beverages and great talent,” Cryder says.

“We’re excited to have a day that is kicking off Fourth of July weekend with music and food. We love the ability to have an all-day experience where they can see some of the greatest artists from Arkansas join together to have an all-day music festival.”

Tickets are available now, including options that give indoor access to cool off from the July heat.
