This fall, the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Arkansas (RMHCA) will host three noteworthy events to raise funds and awareness for children receiving medical care and their families.
These annual fundraisers highlight the nonprofit’s mission of keeping families together with peace of mind during a time of need. Because the organization receives no state, federal or insurance funding, RMHCA raises 100% of its operating budget locally through individual and corporate donations, foundations and events.
Since its beginning in 1974, the Arkansas organization has served more than 41,000 families; That’s more than 800 families who rely on the comfort of home away from home every year.
You can help support the RMHCA by purchasing tickets and sponsoring an event. Here are the three upcoming fall functions you don’t want to miss:
Golf Scramble
Sept. 25 // Pleasant Valley Country Club
This year marks the 31st annual RMHCA golf scramble. Attendees will partake in a fun day on the course with friends, food and games. Morning and afternoon flights are available.
A Night in Vegas
Sept. 28 // The Hall
Enjoy a casino-themed party with drinks, food, fun, games and an online auction. A signature cocktail will be served as you enjoy the Vegas-style buffet and meet players of all skill levels.
Blue Jeans & Bubbles
Oct. 19 // Argenta Plaza
For the third year in a row, RMHCA will host its Blue Jeans & Bubbles street festival. There will be plenty of denim, bubbly, small bites from local restaurants and entertainment throughout the party.
The nonprofit also announced the date for the 2024 Chocolate Fantasy Ball, the 21st anniversary of its signature gala. Mark your calendars for February 17 for a night of decadent delights, dancing and a good cause.
