Your Guide to CARTI’s 40th Annual Festival of Trees

It’s almost here!

CARTI’s annual Festival of Trees kicks off its 40th year this Wednesday, taking over the Statehouse Convention Center for a four-day fest benefitting CARTI cancer patients with the theme Cirque du Festival.

Dozens of beautiful trees will be on display to transform the Statehouse into a festive winter wonderland Nov. 16-19. Attending one of the events? Share your photos on Instagram using #HeySoiree and you could be featured in our newsletter.

Here’s the full lineup:

Sugar Plum Ball

Nov. 16, from 6-8:30 p.m.

Hope you got your tickets early! This classic daddy-daughter date night where tiny merry maidens and their Prince Charmings receive the royal treatment is already sold out. Those attending can expect a storybook setting complete with tiaras, party favors and ballet dancers, as well as appearances by Santa, Mrs. Claus and more. It’s time to make some magical memories with your little ones.

Festival After Dark

Nov. 17, 7 p.m.

It’s time to try out that office-to-happy-hour ensemble you’ve been perfecting. The Festival After Dark is a casual holiday mixer where you can enjoy live entertainment along with “A Taste of the Season,” aka delightful eats from some of central Arkansas’ best restaurants. No holiday event calendar is complete without this party.

Festival of Fashion

Nov. 18, 5-7:30 p.m.

Take a seat, New York Fashion Week. Festival of Fashion brings the fabulousness of the chicest runways to downtown Little Rock — complete with drinks, hors d’oeuvres and swag bags. The night’s looks come from 15 of the most posh boutiques around Little Rock, so it’s safe to expect the best. And a special hats off to Jennifer Day, this year’s CARTI Style Icon honoree.

Tux ‘n’ Trees

Nov. 19, 6 p.m.

Hey, good lookin’. Tux ‘n’ Trees is CARTI’s signature black tie event, and guests always show up dressed with impeccable style. The evening will also bring fine dining and dancing, as well as live and silent auctions. Get your selfie face ready.
