Tina Glass

Owner/Personal Trainer
Results by Tina

After gaining weight in college, I decided to become healthier through diet and exercise. That decision helped me to discover a passion that not only changed my body but my life forever. I became a personal trainer and began working at a local health club, helping others who struggled like me. In 2010, I opened my private training studio, Results by Tina, to give people individualized attention and to help them look and feel their best.

PRESSING QUESTIONS

How did you know this is what you wanted to do?

I love to work out and spend time in the gym. I was eager to develop skills after I became certified. I couldn’t imagine doing anything else as a career. Fast forward 16 years and I still feel the same way.

Best advice you’ve ever received:

Trust God to open the right doors at the right time.

What advice would you give your 18-year-old self?

Appreciate the entire journey, even the messy parts. I remember how stressed I would get cramming for finals, our wedding, buying our first home and even preparing for my first bodybuilding show. Looking back, these were all incredible experiences.

Most rewarding part of your job:

The ability to use my knowledge and experience to help enrich others. Many of my clients tell me that their session is their favorite part of their day. I’m very fortunate to play such a pivotal role in people’s lives.

How you define success:

Success is being happy, finding a career that you love, one that challenges you to grow and help others.

Best career moment so far:

Five year anniversary celebration. Looking around at all of my clients and people who have supported me made me realize that I played a part in making their lives better. It gave me an incredible sense of purpose and gratitude.

I wish I knew how to:

Sing. Seriously, I couldn’t hold a note if it was taped to me. Although singing in my car has slightly improved, it could be because I’m usually the only passenger.

What is a typical workday like?

Lots of high energy, music, laughter and sweat. I’ve always been an extrovert and love working with people and building relationships. My job varies, but includes: therapist, fashion consultant, drill sergeant, relationship expert, nutritionist and kung fu master.
