Robert Half Finance and Accounting is an international Fortune 500 company that specializes in providing businesses with skilled finance and accounting professionals on a full-time/direct hire basis.

I have been working for Robert Half for almost a decade and found my passion in life by helping others find the right fit for their career. I came to Robert Half looking for assistance and thankfully ended up finding my home. I manage a division director and a team of recruiting managers and we match candidates with top clients in the state.

PRESSING QUESTIONS

The one thing I wish people knew about my field:

Staffing is a complex business and finding professionals is more about networking and developing relationships to find the perfect fit versus surfing through online websites. Fit includes matching not only qualifications and skills, but personality and culture.

What makes Little Rock feel like home:

My husband and I moved to Little Rock 10 years ago and from the start knew this would be our home. We enjoy the outdoors with the kids and can’t get enough of the cycling trails, hiking and rivers.

How I knew this was my passion:

After the first placement I made, I knew this was my passion. I am driven by others finding success in their careers.

Biggest challenges in my career:

The biggest challenge is that we are in a historically low unemployment market in Arkansas. With this phenomenal market, the difficulty consists of finding candidates in this competitive environment. I know our clients struggle with this daily, so that’s how we provide value.

Best career moment so far:

Just this year when the CEO and senior leadership team at Robert Half recognized me for top performance within the organization at an international awards banquet.

What keeps me coming back to my job every day:

The gratitude from placed candidates and working with clients. I really enjoy developing long-term relationships with both.

I wish I knew how to:

Fly an airplane. My dad is a retired Naval aviator and mother carries multiple private ratings. They both still fly and wish I would have followed through with my hours to get my license.

A nonprofit I wish more people knew about:

Rotary. It is a global nonprofit whose mission is to provide service to others both locally and internationally. I have more recently been a part of the planning and now charter of the new Rotary Club After Hours.
