I am a chiropractic physician and full partner at Elite Chiropractic and Acupuncture clinic in Little Rock. I have always been very interested in health care provision and serving my community. When I saw how much chiropractic medicine could help transform patients’ lives through movement and a holistic approach, I knew I had found my calling. I gain great joy from seeing my patients improve and increase their quality of life. However, being a wife and mom is my greatest joy. I have a newborn and a 7-year-old daughter.

PRESSING QUESTIONS
Best advice I've ever received:
My clinic partners taught me about positivity, gratitude and good energy early in my career. I believe in positive energy. The more good things you invest yourself in, the more rewarding and fulfilling your life and world will be.
What keeps me coming back to my job every day:
My inspirational patients and my love for helping others. I also want to set a good example for my daughters, that they can achieve success and give back to the community while also having fulfilling personal lives.
What makes Little Rock feel like home:
The strong sense of community. My husband is also a successful small business owner and we feel very fortunate for the opportunities and positive relationships Little Rock has given our family. We love raising our daughters here.
Advice for my 18-year-old self:
Don’t let popular culture and social media dictate your self-worth. Show yourself and others grace and enjoy the journey. Don’t be in such a hurry to grow up.
The one thing I wish people knew about my field:
Chiropractic medicine is based on a wellness model with substantial research indicating the benefits to patients for a wide variety of health issues.
Best career moment so far:
Being appointed to the Arkansas State Chiropractic Board of Examiners by the governor.
Biggest challenges in my career:
Completing my chiropractic medicine degree, sitting for National Boards, all while having a newborn and losing my grandmother. This showed me that dedication, hard work and a strong support system can help you overcome any obstacles that occur in life.
A nonprofit I wish more people knew about:
Junior League of Little Rock. Being a member of the Junior League of Little Rock has been a rewarding experience personally and professionally. Most don’t realize the numerous service projects and community outreach programs that Junior League does.
