I own and operate Big Rock Mini Golf & Fun Park, a family entertainment center that provides indoor and outdoor activities for people of all ages. While raising my children in Little Rock I became very concerned about the lack of healthy things for people to do that require little time and money to engage in. At age 55, I knew this was something that I was passionate about doing, and the time was right for me. I jumped all in, and wake each day ready to get to work!

PRESSING QUESTIONS
ADVICE YOU WOULD GIVE YOUR 18-YEAR-OLD SELF:
Listen to Jesus and my parents more, and my peers less. And stop ingesting all gluten immediately!
HOW YOU DEFINE SUCCESS:
Facing a challenge with courage and hope. To endure the heartache of disappointments and persevere to the end of the task.
FAVORITE PART OF LIVING IN LITTLE ROCK:
The incredible people. I marvel at the talents of everyone that I meet in Little Rock. The city offers avenues for each person to develop their gifts and talents.
HOW DID YOU KNOW THIS IS WHAT YOU WANTED TO DO?
My desire to help others with their pursuit of selecting positive leisure time activities was renewed when God called me to 11411 Baseline Road. I saw the dilapidated land and also the vision of what could be done there.
I WISH I KNEW HOW TO:

WHAT DOES A TYPICAL WORKDAY LOOK LIKE?
Very long. I start first thing in the morning with emails, spend as much time at the park as I can, even late at night. Then stay in touch with my staff until I’ve received the daily report after closing.
MOST REWARDING PART OF YOUR JOB:
Seeing the guests come in the door, helping them decide what they want to play, and then seeing the transformation in them after they spend their quality time with each other. Smiling, closer, and more relaxed than when they arrived.
WHO IS YOUR ROLE MODEL?
Pastor Mary Hilliard answered the call to ministry, and lives her beliefs and convictions. When I am spent from the demands on me, her sermons and friendly smile renew my strength to continue my work.
