I have served in many different roles in my 14 years with Bank of America, but am currently the local market executive for the state of Arkansas. In this role, I am responsible for business integration, strategic planning, coordination and leading the bank’s local philanthropic contributions, managing events and sponsorships and facilitating relationships with the community and opinion leaders.

I have loved mentoring team members and watching them grow and develop in their careers. Watching the people I’ve brought on or trained succeed makes me proud.
One practice I use to maintain my mental health
My physical health directly impacts my mental health. Exercising and being outside in the fresh air is a major priority for me.
The one thing I wish people knew about my field
Despite being national or global corporations, many banks are extremely dedicated to their communities and provide significant local support.
The first thing I do to course-correct when I hit a wall
Being outdoors in the fresh air brings me peace. Stepping away from the noise and distractions for a walk helps me clear my mind and center myself.
Biggest challenges in my career
There is such a great need in our community and organizations doing amazing work. I always wish I had more time and resources to do more.
How I knew this was my passion
I found myself genuinely excited by my work. The joy I felt while strategizing for this job in my spare time confirmed this is what I’m supposed to be doing.
