WOMEN TO WATCH

Lorrel Lyles

Co-Owner
She Said Yes Bridal in The Heights & She Said Yes Bridal of Northwest Arkansas

After working in the Walmart vendor world, we were given the opportunity to purchase She Said Yes Bridal and it’s been an exciting transition for me. With my background, I manage the financial side of the business but the part I love best is meeting and working with new people every day. Both our Rogers and Little Rock stores offer specialty bridal and formal wear and our goal is to provide each client with outstanding customer service. We want to help each woman find a dress that is as special and unique as she is!

PRESSING QUESTIONS

Best career moment so far:

Expanding our brand from northwest Arkansas to Little Rock has been very exciting. I have grown personally and professionally during the process and I love the area and the people!

Best advice I ever received:

Give God the things that are not in “my circle.” In other words, own the things that I can control and give Him the things I cannot. That frees me to be the best that I can be.

How I knew this was my passion:

I have a business background and love fashion, so it’s a natural fit to work with women and help with the most special day of their lives. And after raising three boys, it’s fun to play with dresses every day!

My typical workday:

My workday begins with my quiet time and morning coffee. Then I head to the store where I work with some of the most talented women in the industry!

I wish I knew how to:

Be in two places at one time!

If I could lunch with any woman, it would be:

I would have loved to have had lunch and spent some time with Barbara Bush. She was warm, passionate, loved her family well and dedicated much of her life to public service.

Most rewarding part of my job:

I treat each bride as if she were my daughter. I love helping her find a gown that will make her feel confident and beautiful on her wedding day.

How I define success:

For me it is representing Christ well in all I do, whether it is at home or in the workplace.
