I formed my company, Katie Grace Designs, in 2012. We design residential and commercial spaces around Arkansas and surrounding states. I work closely with each client to understand their needs to create a space that is a true reflection of that individual. Each client’s unique story is told through the design of their home. Our ultimate goal is always to create spaces that not only function for each family and individual, but inspire as well.

PRESSING QUESTIONS
MOST REWARDING PART OF YOUR JOB:
It makes all the hard work worth it seeing the homeowners light up over their new space. Seeing our vision come to life after months of planning and gathering. Install days are by far the most rewarding days for me.
FAVORITE PART OF LIVING IN LITTLE ROCK:
I keep telling people, “I am back home.” I grew up here and recently moved back after being away for 11 years. Love the deep roots that I have here with my friends and family. Love being back home.
HOW DID YOU KNOW THIS IS WHAT YOU WANTED TO DO?
Early on I was given the opportunity to work on several design projects. I really enjoyed seeing the transformation from beginning to end, as well as working closely with the clients. I knew then that this was my gift.
BEST ADVICE YOU’VE EVER RECEIVED:
If you feel a calling to a gift, please refuse to worry about whether you are good enough or have enough. Just do it. Be generous and offer your gift to the world.
ADVICE YOU WOULD GIVE YOUR 18-YEAR-OLD SELF:
Stop trying so hard. Rest and be confident in your gifts God has given you.
WHAT DOES A TYPICAL WORKDAY LOOK LIKE?
One thing I love about my job is that every day looks completely different. I arrive at my office and from there my day can include client meetings and consults, shopping for projects, site checks, meeting with contractors, etc.
HOW YOU DEFINE SUCCESS:
Success for me is knowing that my client is 100% happy.
WHO IS YOUR ROLE MODEL?
My mom, Carolyn Stowers. She has taught me the meaning of hard work. She is the most gracious and godly woman I know, and she sets an example for me in how I want to mother my own children.
