PRESSING QUESTIONS

How did you know this is what you wanted to do?

When I was 15 years old I shadowed an optometrist and was instantly hooked. I loved the medical management of eye diseases and the ability to immediately improve a person’s life through the use of glasses and contact lenses.

Favorite part of living in Little Rock?

I wish I knew how to __________.

I wish I knew how to cook as well as my father-in-law.He organizes, plans and makes extravagant five-course meals every Sunday which brings the entire family together.

What is the most rewarding part of your job?

Success to me is the ability to set goals for yourself and having a passion towards achieving them while being true to who you are and your beliefs. If you are able to do this, then you will be rewarded by making a positive difference in the lives of others.

Best moment of your career so far?

The best moment of my career was when I fit a very young boy in medically necessary rigid contact lenses that gave him 20/20 vision, which wasn’t possible through the use of glasses. It was quite the challenge, but the smile on his face made it worthwhile.
