As a realtor with The Janet Jones Company, I spend my days helping clients buy and sell real estate in central Arkansas. Being an agent was a lifelong dream inspired by my grandmother, who was a realtor in town for many years. I love my job and strive to carry on her legacy of kindness and dedication to clients.

PRESSING QUESTIONS
Best advice I ever received
“It’s only a big deal if you make it one.” To me, this means staying calm when overcoming challenges. It takes constant practice, but has drastically improved my life.
Biggest challenges in my career
Accepting that I’ll never know everything. I encounter a new challenge every day because no two houses or clients are the same. This is also what keeps it so fun.
One practice I use to maintain my mental health
Long walks with my dog, Steve, while listening to good music or a funny podcast. A good trot around the neighborhood can fix almost anything.
How I knew this was my passion
I’m genuinely excited to come to work every day. Helping clients find a new home or sell a home they’ve loved is an honor I don’t take for granted.
What I learned from my first job
My first job for the NLR Parks Department taught me how impactful a good boss can be. I’ve had some great ones, and I’ve tried to borrow wisdom from each.
Nonprofit I wish more people knew about
Friends of the Animal Village and the Humane Society of Pulaski County. Both save so many animals’ lives. Please consider them if you are looking to adopt an animal.
What keeps me coming back to my job every day
I’ve met so many new and incredible people through helping them with their real estate. Getting to make new friends and spend time with old ones is such a perk.
Best career moment so far
When Janet Jones asked me to come work with her, I felt my heart grow two sizes. I knew I must have done something right in life.
The first thing I do to course-correct when I hit a wall
Talk it through at the office. We have the best group at The Janet Jones Company. They make everything better and more fun. I wouldn’t want to do this without them.
