Born and raised in Arkansas, and upon graduating from college in Texas, I started as a sales representative. AT&T has been a fabulous company that offers opportunity for people to progress and move around the company and the country. I’ve lived between cities in Texas, California and Arkansas, working in sales, marketing, operations, business development, college recruiting, global HR operations and now overseeing our retail sales operations in Arkansas and Oklahoma. These days, AT&T is about keeping people connected no matter where they are because our customers are always on the go.

PRESSING QUESTIONS
How did you know this is what you wanted to do?
I love sales. I love to compete. I love leading a team to success! I’m driven by numbers, achieving goals, teaching people, providing solutions and clearing obstacles. This is what I do every day.
If you could have lunch with any woman, who would it be and what would you order?
Barbara Walters. She is a class act. She’s professional, courteous and has interviewed so many interesting people. I’d definitely order something simple and healthy so I could listen intently.Best advice you’ve ever received? Never quit because of your boss. We’ve all had challenging bosses, then it changes — either we change positions in the company or they move on to something new. There are things we learn from everyone we work for, good or bad.
What advice would you give your 18-year-old self?
Take advantage of a college study abroad program. It offers an organized way to expand your education, broaden your experience and see what life is like outside the United States.
What is the most rewarding part of your job?
My job as a leader within AT&T is to develop our future leaders. It’s most rewarding to see people who have worked for me develop, learn, grow and move on to other opportunities within the company.
How do you define success?
I don’t define success by the money I make or the things I own. Success is enjoying what you do, spending time with the people that matter most in your life, being generous and having fun along the way!
Favorite part of living in Little Rock?
It's so beautiful … the trees, the river, all the scenery. Growing up here, then living in other areas of the country, I realized I took this for granted. Now I enjoy it every day. Being one hour from my mother is fun, too!
I wish I knew how to __________.
Skydive! It's on the bucket list.
