I received my doctorate of dental surgery from the University of Tennessee and completed a general practice residency at UAMS in pursuance of advanced training. I practice at sister offices Kinard Dental Arts and Cloud Family Dental. I treat patients of all ages with different needs. I offer services including fillings, crowns, extractions, implants, dentures, botox and cosmetic dentistry.

PRESSING QUESTIONS
Biggest challenges in my career
The questions, “are you old enough or strong enough to be my dentist?” Dynamite comes in small packages. I am old enough, strong enough and want to help you!
Best advice I ever received
Do your best and be kind. The rest tends to take care of itself. How I knew this was my passion The first time a patient hugged me after helping them get out of pain and restore their confidence through their smile.
What keeps me coming back to my job every day
People. I love meeting people and helping them. Human interaction through dentistry makes it all worth it.
One practice I use to maintain my mental health
Getting outside. There aren’t many inconveniences a little nature cannot fix, and luckily, Little Rock has plenty of it.
Nonprofit I wish more people knew about
Special Olympics Arkansas
The one thing I wish people knew about my field
Dentists don’t want you to be scared. We want you to be happy, healthy and comfortable.
Best career moment so far
Going to work every day for my patients. This was my dream for so much of my life. Now I am blessed to be living it.
What I learned from my first job
Before dentistry, I was the head of the HR department for Target. I learned to truly listen to people's concerns, as well as how to help manage a team.
The first thing I do to course-correct when I hit a wall
Take a deep breath; call my mom, dad or husband to gain a new perspective; then restart.
A skill I never expected to need in this field
Technology. Dentistry is advancing digitally every day. It takes being a little tech savvy to keep up with advancements.
