State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company is the parent company of several affiliates and subsidiaries that provide property, life insurance and health insurance. I have been blessed and fortunate to work for this great company for nearly 20 years, working in various positions. Currently I am the agent and owner of two State Farm agencies, one in Benton and one in Fordyce. I, along with my incredible team of eight fully licensed agents, help our clients manage their every risk and do our best to make insurance simple and easy to understand.

PRESSING QUESTIONS
The one thing I wish people knew about my field
We are in the insurance business, but really we're in the business of relationships. The more our team knows and understands your risks, the more accurate your coverages and the premiums you pay. We genuinely love our customers.
Biggest challenges in my career
After having my children, I would say my biggest challenge would be work-life balance. Now, it is definitely work-work balance. The two agencies are 60 miles apart and I have a hard time splitting my time equally.
Best career moment so far
A member of my team started her own successful State Farm agency. That is definitely the best moment of my agency career.
A skill I never expected to need in this field
At the start of my career, I believed my psychology degree wouldn't impact my work in insurance sales. Funny, I use it every day.
Best advice I ever received
Read. (A lot.) In the words of Jim Rohn, "The difference between where you are now and where you will be in five years is in the quality of the books that you've read."
The first thing I do to course-correct when I hit a wall
After a brief pause, I put in my headphones and listen to my favorite podcasts to put me back in a good headspace. My top three are the "Ellevate Podcast," "The Papaya Podcast" and "Powerhouse Women."
What makes Little Rock feel like home
The delicious food! We have some of the most incredible places to dine. I also love my church very much. We attend Pleasant Valley Church of Christ and are very thankful for our community there. Church always feels like home.
