PRESSING QUESTIONS
The one thing I wish people knew about my field
The most important work in business is often invisible. The right financial structure and the right people create stability, growth and long-term success.
How I knew this was my passion
I’ve always been the person people rely on to solve problems and build structure. Turning that instinct into a career helping businesses grow felt like a natural fit.
A skill I never expected to need in this field
Emotional intelligence. Understanding people, not just numbers, is critical when leading teams and advising clients through growth and change.
Biggest challenges in my career
Learning to balance high expectations with sustainable growth. As a leader, I’ve had to shift from doing everything myself to building systems and trusting others to execute.
What I learned from my first job
Work ethic and reliability matter more than talent alone. Showing up consistently and taking ownership will set you apart in any field.
One practice I use to maintain my mental health
Setting boundaries around my time and being intentional about unplugging, especially with my family. It helps me reset and stay focused long term.
The first thing I do to course-correct when I hit a wall
Step back, reassess the objective and simplify. Most problems become manageable once you refocus on what actually matters.
Best advice I ever received
You don’t have to have everything figured out, you just have to take the next right step.
Nonprofit I wish more people knew about
Ronald McDonald House Arkansas. They provide critical support to families during medical crises and make an immeasurable impact during incredibly difficult times.
What keeps me coming back to my job every day
The opportunity to solve complex problems and directly impact businesses and people. No two days are the same, and the work genuinely matters.
Best career moment so far
Having the opportunity to grow with two startup companies that recognize and support my strengths, allowing me to build a career aligned with both my talents and passions.
