Cromwell Architects Engineers

While studying architecture at the University of Arkansas, I began interning at Cromwell Architects Engineers, which led to a full-time position upon graduation. As a licensed architect, I have the opportunity to work on diverse project types, create connections within our community and lead student outreach efforts that promote exploration into the architecture and design, engineering and construction industries.

Best advice I ever received

Choose a career that you love, and you will never have to go to work.

Best career moment so far

Officially receiving my architectural license in March of 2021.

What keeps me coming back to my job every day

I enjoy working with our client to find design solutions, discovering interior spaces and simply competing with my husband who is also a designer.

The one thing I wish people knew about my field

It typically takes designers countless hours and design iterations to produce the final design that we present. What may appear to be a small change, simply may not be.

The first thing I do to course-correct when I hit a wall

I step away, take a break and refocus.

How I knew this was my passion

The first time that I experienced a client's appreciation, it was a gentle reminder that all of the tireless hours of work were worth it for that singular moment.
