I own a residential and commercial interior design firm that specializes in approachable luxury design. We are blessed that our business has grown tremendously in the last decade and that we have been afforded the opportunity to work on projects throughout the United States.

Best career moment so far:

Signing a national design book deal a few weeks ago. When my career started, I did not ever imagine that I would author a book.

Favorite part of living in Little Rock?

We are a close-knit community and a city of philanthropy. The citizens of our city and state have big hearts.

What advice would you give your 18 year old self?

I would tell my 18-year-old self that God, friends, and family are a priority and to remember to spend quality time with all that are dear to us.

If you could lunch with any woman, who would it be?

My mother-in-law, Sara Lay Copas. She passed away in 2010, and I miss her dearly. She was the most gentle and wise woman I have ever met, and she taught my husband the importance of respecting women as equals.

Most rewarding part of your job:

The most rewarding part of my job is seeing the happiness in a client’s eyes when we “reveal” their design. Design is emotional for clients, and we are grateful to have the blessing of making dreams come true!

Who is your role model?

My husband Scott; he is a man of character and the best partner I could have ever dreamed of. I am truly blessed by him each day!

How you define success:

Success is knowing you have given 100 percent in all that you do each day. It is not measured by money or power, but simply by being fulfilled and by helping to fulfill the dreams of those around you.
