I've known that I wanted to be a doctor since I was a kid, and medical school confirmed I wanted to be an OB/GYN. After residency I moved back home and started with SVI Women's Clinic. Once they closed the OB Floor, I was lucky enough to be found by The Woman's Clinic in 2019!

Helping my patients through rough patches. Life is hard enough as it is for everyone, but when we go through this process from start to finish, it becomes personal.

What I learned from my first job

I've become a better listener for my patients. Not everything goes as planned, but building a bond with my patients helps us overcome and create the best plan for them.

The first thing I do to course-correct when I hit a wall

Take a step back and breathe. Collect my thoughts and then reevaluate the new situation at hand.

How I knew this was my passion

In medical school I realized that I was going to be able to have continuity with my patients and be able to perform surgeries.

When my own network of friends and family started trusting me enough to become their long-term care provider! It's SO AWESOME!

A skill I never expected to need in this field

Tying together mental health and this profession. Our patients are dealing with a variety of situations and outcomes, so I think it's extremely important to acknowledge them in our field.
