Revive Lifestyle Medicine is a functional health care practice that is 100% operated and owned by amazing women. I started this private practice as a nurse practitioner serving a patient body with issues achieving functional health or providing health that improves their quality of life. I was called to serve patients who need a provider to dial into some of the most intimate areas of health care involving hormone therapy and addressing sexual dysfunction. I am not only one of the two nurse practitioner providers, but also the business owner and operator.

How I knew this was my passion:

I experience joy when I walk into the work environment my team has created. I experience joy when I see each patient. At some point my "work" became my dream job and my career.

What keeps me coming back to my job every day:

My team. I have never been more grateful for the women I work with. We keep each other on our toes, we celebrate patient victories together, we support each other. Energy begets energy.

The one thing I wish people knew about my field:

Being a health care provider isn't a career you pick out of a catalog, it's a calling, an art and a privilege.

Biggest challenges in my career:

I am a nurse practitioner. I am not a businesswoman by nature. Balancing the honor being the mother of five children and work may be the greatest challenge of all.

Advice for my 18-year-old self:

To slow down and to be quiet, that your weakness will be your strengths, to listen and learn from others, but most importantly, listen to your gut.

My friends, having my mom one block away and the amazing women I connect with from my patients to my children.

Best advice I've ever received:

In the midst of the stress and chaos of growth, to sit and take a snapshot memory as this moment will never happen again.
