Wild Women Wednesday Might Be Your New Favorite Outdoor Activity

Ok, ladies, now let’s get in (hiking) formation. Mix together a fierce female community, exercise and the great outdoors, and you’ve got yourself a winning combination.

It’s called Wild Women Wednesday and it’s part of the Women’s Hiking Winter Series at Pinnacle Mountain State Park. Every week, local ladies are invited to join park interpreters and Central Arkansas Master Naturalists members (CAMN) as they take to one of the Pinnacle trails.

CAMN is an organization that “works to keep Arkansas in its Natural State” through things like clean-up and greenhouse efforts. Learn more about CAMN here.

The Wild Women Wednesday hikes last from 3-5 p.m. and take place every Wednesday through the end of March. Bonus: They’re completely free. All you have to do is call to find out where the group is meeting each week.

For more information, check out the Pinnacle Mountain State Park website or give them a call at (501) 868-5806.
