The brand new Whole Foods Market will open at its 34,000-SF location at the intersection of Bowman and Chenal on Wednesday, Feb. 18, at 8 a.m. It started as a need for more elbow room for customers than The Village at Pleasant Valley shopping center on Rodney Parham could provide, but they pulled out all the stops putting this awesome new space together.
You can’t do these sorts of things without having a celebration; it’s the rules. The new Whole Foods is hosting a sneak peek preview party on Monday, Feb. 16, from 4-6 p.m. Guests will be able to enjoy some of the delicious treats the market has to offer, as well as entertainment and live music.
The Whole Foods team is encouraging a $5 donation at the door (credit cards included), which will benefit our friends at the Museum of Discovery! The event is open to the community, but registration is required. You can do that by clicking here.
Then, on opening day, Whole Foods will host a bread-breaking ceremony at 7:30 a.m., with specials, entertainment, activities and tastings all day. Plus, if you’re one of the first 500 customers, you get a free Whole Foods reusable shopping bag.
