An Obstetrician-Gynecologist (OBGYN) can provide care for routine gynecology and family planning, noncancerous gynecologic problems including gynecologic surgery, pregnancy and routine reproductive health care.They also care for a woman’s overall health. In addition, some physicians focus on particular areas, such as complicated pregnancies or non-invasive surgeries.
The majority of our staff is female, which means a multitude of womens health issues are discussed during our moments of down time. There’s often office chatter about “Who is your OBGYN?,” “Who do you see for this or that?,” “What hospital are they associated with?,” “Who’s the best for to go to for (fill in the blank)?” and so on.
