You already know that Saturday is the Fourth of July, and whether or not you have your plans ironed out just yet, you’re probably planning on capping off the day by watching the giant fireworks display over the Arkansas River. (If you’re not, you should change your plans.)
There are spots all over the metro that are holding their own Independence Day celebrations (sadly without Will Smith and Jeff Goldblum) all centered around the same fireworks display. Here’s where to kick back in your lawn chairs and enjoy the show.
32nd Annual Pops on the River
River Market Pavilions/First Security Amphitheater, 400 President Clinton Ave., Little Rock
Firework shows don’t get much better than on the Arkansas River every July 4. Pops on the River has become a must-attend for those looking to celebrate the country’s most-beloved holiday, as well as those looking for food trucks, family activities, a shopping marketplace, a car show and more. Easter Seals Presents Fireworks Frenzy
Little Rock Marriott Grand Ballroom Terrace, 3 Statehouse Plaza, Little Rock
Teaming up withEaster Seals Arkansas, the night at the Little Rock Marriott includes good eats, a cash bar, a DJ and, of course, the best views of the massive Pops on the River fireworks show over the Arkansas River from the Grand Ballroom Terrace. Fireworks at Dickey Stephens Park

While the Travs are away, well, the fun goes on without them. The ball park festivities include live entertainment and plenty of concessions, which will be sold throughout the evening. Arkansas WAND 4th of July Celebration
U.S.S. Razorback Submarine, 120 Riverfront Park, North Little Rock
Women’s Actions for New Directions (WAND) is throwing the quintessential waterfront cook-out. The menu includes hot dogs, hamburgers, veggie burgers, potato salad, slaw and beans, all to the live sounds of Two Lane Blacktop. And for dessert?
