What You Need to Know About Filmland 2024

With less than a week before Filmland takes over the silver screen, the Arkansas Cinema Society has released the lineup of films and celebs coming to the annual festival.

The Aug. 14-18 event will once again be held at the Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts and includes five days of feature films, workshops, networking opportunities, panel discussions and local filmmaker highlights. The latest ACS announcement includes buzzy titles and names like “Daddio,” Dylan Sprouse, Oscar-nominated actor Colman Domingo and his new film “Sing Sing.”

One major highlight of the festival will be the inaugural Southern Storytellers Panel, a joint effort with this year’s media partner Variety. The panel will feature Arkansas’ own Jeff Nichols (“The Bikeriders”), Michael Schwartz (“The Peanut Butter Falcon,” “Los Frikis”), Christy Hall (“Daddio,” “It Ends With Us”), Clint Bentley (“Sing Sing,” “Jockey,” “Train Dreams”) and Monique Walton (“Sing Sing,” “Bull,” “Hollow Tree”), and will be moderated by Variety Chief Film Critic Peter Debruge.

But at the center of it all, of course, are the films themselves. So without further ado, here’s your screening rundown of Filmland 2024.
