We’re happy to announce that 2FAN is back, albeit virtually for now.
For the uninitiated, 2FAN, or 2nd Friday Art Night, is a monthly event that takes place in downtown Little Rock where various art galleries and shops stay open late and host special events.
Here’s a peek at all the fun happenings during this month’s stacked lineup that you can view from the comfort of your couch/porch/bed (no judgement):
Old State House Museum: Treat yourself to the soulful blues of Charlotte Taylor as she performs a concert from her home using Facebook Live. The Old State House will also showcase a few artifacts via video or Facebook Live. Find out more here.
Nexus Coffee & Creative: Nexus is hosting a virtual gallery walk-through featuring artwork from May We Fly, Handiwork Studio and print pieces from Lana Johnson of Come Alive studio. All pieces are currently for sale, and Nexus is open for business. Find out more here.
Bella Vita Jewelry: Amy Garland and Nick Devlin will be in the shop playing tunes that will be livestreamed. The shop will also feature new watercolor art by Emily Wood and a special selection of Amy’s Stone Country Straps guitar straps. The fun will start around 5:30 p.m on Facebook Live and Instagram Live.
Downtown Little Rock Partnership: Artist Meagan Davis of “Davisdrew” will be doing a live art piece and taking requests on Facebook Live. Find out more here.
Central Arkansas Library System: Take a virtual tour of the watercolorists exhibit, learn how to make your own cheese dip, listen to music from the CALS Sounds in the Stack series and play a little EOA trivia with CALS starting at 5:30 p.m. Click here for the Facebook Live link.
Sergio Valdivia Art: Painter Sergio Valdivia will showcase a new collection featuring clothes and shoes painted by Valdivia. He will have discounts and special offers available for everything, as well as raffles and and small gifts. He is accepting payment via CashApp, Apple Pay and PayPal for items purchased during the presentation.
