What to Expect at the September 2FAN

New month, more 2FAN goodness.

For the uninitiated, 2FAN, or 2nd Friday Art Night, is a monthly event that takes place in downtown Little Rock where various art galleries and shops stay open late and host special events. September’s event will be held virtually, with each location joining the livestream to share what they have in store.

Here’s a peek at all the fun happenings during this month’s stacked lineup:

UA Little Rock Downtown: The downtown campus will showcase the UA Little Rock Brad Cushman Gallery, which will include items from the college’s permanent art collection and contemporary British studio ceramics from the Arkansas Arts Center Foundation Collection.

Nexus Coffee & Creative: This month’s “Meet the Maker” will feature Lana with Come Alive Studios, with nature being the center of her artistic inspiration.

Old State House Museum: The Old State House Museum will introduce its new “Down the Rabbit Hole: Adventures in eMuseum” exhibit with a video.

Historic Arkansas Musuem: This month, HAM will be exploring the world of printmaking with Kate Askew of Yellow Dog Press. There will also be an interview with Leah Grant, mocktail making, crafting with Moody Brown and a look at the prints in their collection.
