What to Expect at the November 2FAN

November is in full swing and with it is a super exciting 2FAN.

2FAN, or 2nd Friday Art Night, is a monthly gathering where downtown Little Rock’s various art galleries and shops stay open late to host art walks and special events. 2FAN has been virtual since COVID hit, but that changes Nov. 13.

A special Meet the Makers event will take place in the River Market Pavilions from 5-8 p.m. where guests can enjoy live music by Bantunauts Raydio and peruse safely spaced booths from Nexus Coffee & Creative, the Central Arkansas Library System, UA Little Rock Downtown, Sergio Valdivia Art, Rolling Hills Pottery and more.

“2nd Friday Art Night has been a valuable part of the fabric of downtown Little Rock for years,” says Diana Long, director of River Market operations for the Little Rock Convention & Visitors Bureau. “The River Market Pavilion is a large, open-air, covered venue good for safe and distanced events. We are happy to host 2nd Friday Art Night as we all work together to navigate this pandemic.”

There’s plenty of room to spread out, but keep in mind masks are required and social distance measures will be enforced.

But that’s not all that’s going down Friday night. Bella Vita is hosting its holiday open house to kick off the season. And if you’d rather play it safe at home, you can livestream the Historic Arkansas Museum’s special 2FAN programming celebrating Indigenous Peoples Month.
