Science After Dark: Pranks & Dranks at the Museum of Discovery: Gotcha. This edition of the MoD’s monthly grownup meetup is embracing April Fool’s Day wholeheartedly with pranks and gags like magic science shows, how-to fake wounds and lots more. As always, there will be beer from Stone’s Throw and pizza from Damgoode Pies. Art of Fashion with Merline Labissière at the Arkansas Arts Center: Marking the return of its popular lecture series, the AAC welcomes distinguished guests to discuss the role of fashion in art, history and culture. This weekend, guests will hear from Merline Labissière — who you may recognize from season 14 of “Project Runway” and season six of “Project Runway All Stars” — with a lecture titled Becoming a Fashion Designer: How Merging Architecture and Fashion Impact the work of Merline Labissière. Speakeasy Party at Four Quarter Bar: Just say the magic word. Come join the 1920’s fun at this second annual fundraiser for the ALS Association of Arkansas where you’ll sip Prohibition-style drinks and do a little swing dancing to the sounds of live jazz. Crawfish Boil at War Memorial Stadium: We suggest bringing your appetite to this seasonal bash hosted by the Heart of Our House. In addition to the good eats and live music, attendees have the opportunity to help Our House residents by donating twin size sheets, towels and pillows in lieu of an entrance fee. Easter Egg Hunt at Burns Park: Every year, kids ages 1-9 take to the Burns Park Youth Baseball Complex to hunt for Easter egg glory, and this year is no different. The free event also includes snacks, drinks, bounce houses, arts and crafts and a visit from the Easter Bunny himself. Autism Festival and Walk at War Memorial Stadium: The Arkansas Autism Foundation, one of Little Rock’s newest nonprofits, is kicking off a month of events marking Autism Awareness Month with this free fest. The day includes food, entertainment,an Easter egg hunt and a one-mile walk. Registration opens at 9:30 a.m. For more info, click here.

Beer Garden Party at Blue Canoe Brewing Warehouse: Ah, spring. Get out and soak up the good weather with food trucks, live music, games and pop-ups, all while sipping on new Blue Canoe brews. The party lasts from noon-11 p.m. For more info, click here.

Champion’s Gala at the Little Rock Marriott: This annual Alzheimer’s Arkansas event is a chance for the organization to celebrate advocates and caregivers for loved ones with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. The night includes dinner, a live auction and much more, including commemorating 2018 honorees Priscilla Pittman, Jennifer Bastel and Rick Fleetwood.
