Moviegoers, rejoice. There’s a new drive-in theater to enjoy in central Arkansas.
With concerts put on pause for the time being, Metroplex Live is switching gears to bring us outdoor movies on the big screen. The first screening, sponsored by the Arkansas Cinema Society, will be a thoroughly Arkansas film — “Antiquities.” The screening is set for this Saturday, May 16, with gates opening at 8 p.m. and the show starting at 8:45 p.m. at 7318 Wind Song Drive in North Little Rock.
The movie is free, but donations will be accepted at the gate. Per social distancing rules, only 40 cars will be allowed in. Masked bathroom attendants will disinfect the bathrooms after use and concessions will be delivered to your car. VIP parking spots are available for a $20 donation.
