Tornado Relief Benefit Game Tonight at Dickey-Stephens Park

The high school baseball teams of the two communities most affected by the April 27 tornado will play a benefit game at Dickey-Stephens Park tonight.

All proceeds from the game, including the concession stands, will go to the cities of Mayflower and Vilonia to help with the rebuilding effort. Admission is free, but donations will be collected by each high school’s cheerleading squads.

Gates open at 4:30 p.m. and the first pitch is set for 5:30 p.m. Mayors James Firestone, of Vilonia, and Randy Holland, of Mayflower, will host a moment of silence before each throws out the first pitches.
