DESCRIPTION:The Little Rock (AR) Chapter of The Links\, Incorporated\, in partnership with the White Rose Foundation of Little Rock\, will host its signature Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) fundraiser\, Jazzy Jeans and Jewels\, on Saturday\, June 6\, 2026\, at The Venue at Westwind located at 7318 Windsong Drive in North Little Rock. \nThis year’s Jazzy Jeans & Jewels is the first event in a series commemorating 70 years of service and impact by the Little Rock (AR) Chapter of The Links\, Incorporated. Proceeds from the event will directly support Arkansas’ HBCUs\, helping invest in the education and future leadership of students across the state. The funds raised from the evening of dancing\, dining and denim are donated on a rotating schedule to one of the four HBCUs in Central Arkansas—Arkansas Baptist College\, Philander Smith University\, Shorter College\, and the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. More than $237\,000 has been contributed over the life of this fundraiser. \nThis high-energy fundraising event will bring together community leaders\, supporters\, and friends for an evening filled with great music\, good vibes\, and meaningful impact. Guests are encouraged to show up in their best denim looks as the night blends casual sophistication with purpose.

DESCRIPTION:Little Rock’s Biggest Halloween Costume Party Fundraiser \nIt’s an eerie evening full of live and silent auctions\, devilish drinks\, hors d’oeuvres\, dancing\, and monstrous musical entertainment to benefit Home for Healing. \nHome for Healing is a non-profit facility that provides no cost lodging in a home-like setting for cancer patients\, parents of premature infants\, and family members with a loved one in the ICU being treated at UAMS\, Arkansas Children’s Hospital\, CARTI\, Baptist Health\, Chi St. Vincent\, and any other local treatment facility. It also provides cancer support center where education\, fellowship and nurturing can take place in a supportive atmosphere. \nHome for Healing operates in a spacious 13\,500-square-foot house with 15 guest rooms\, four communal kitchens\, two laundry rooms\, three living rooms\, a meditation area\, and the beautiful Serenity Garden. By providing all the comforts of home\, Home for Healing allows guests to focus on their healing journeys in a warm and welcoming environment. \nIt costs approximately $20\,000 per month to operate the home. Home for Healing is privately funded solely from grants\, donations\, and annual community fundraisers.
