The second annual Urban Farm Fest is set for 7-10 p.m. on Thursday, June 7, at the Heifer Headquarters in downtown Little Rock, offering a chance for locals to tip their hats to farmers while enjoying a casual night of food and fun down on the farm.
The dress code is “sneaker casual” so guests can participate in the many lawn games that will be set up around the campus. There will also be local food trucks, tours of the farm and live music.
A portion of the night’s proceeds goes back into Heifer’s work with local agriculture and economic development.
Heifer’s Urban Farm opened in fall 2016 and is home to community gardens, workshops and the types of animals Heifer provides to families through both domestic and international programs. If you can’t make it to the fest, you can still visit the garden at any time.
