The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences Psychiatric Research Institute presented a performance of “Next to Normal” at the Arkansas Repertory Theatre. Winner of three Tony Awards and a Pulitzer Prize for drama, “Next to Normal” portrays a mother’s mental illness and the impact is has on her family. A reception was held before the show and a conversation with clinicians took place afterward.
