UA-PTC Launches Off the CHARTS Virtual Performance Series

Let’s put some fun on the calendar, shall we?

In November, UA-Pulaski Technical College announced it would reschedule its CHARTS Live 2020-21 season programming to fall 2021 and spring 2022 due to coronavirus concerns, but the Center for Humanities and Arts (aka CHARTS) still has plenty of entertainment up its sleeves.

Enter Off the CHARTS, a free virtual series featuring local artists, musicians and performers that broadcasts live on YouTube on Thursdays at 6 p.m.

The series kicked off last week with jazz guitarist Ted Ludwig, and has released the lineup for the next few weeks with more announcements coming soon. Here’s who’s on the list so far:

  • Dec. 17 – Dazz & Brie
  • Dec. 24 – Excerpts from “The Nutcracker” with Ballet Arkansas
  • Jan. 7 – Drew Jansen & Jimmy Martin

“CHARTS was made to showcase quality arts programming,” says Shannon Boshears, vice chancellor for institutional advancement at UA-PTC, “and with COVID-19 forcing us to postpone our regular season to late 2021, we believe the show must go on.”

To learn more about the series, visit the CHARTS website and follow along on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for updates and show announcements.
