Trust Tree to Host Second Annual Rockin’ in the Garden Event

Trust Tree, a nonprofit music and art camp for girls, will host its second annual fall fundraiser and community event, Rockin’ in the Garden. Held on Nov. 2 at the Bernice Garden, Rockin’ in the Garden is a family-friendly afternoon to raise money for supplies and equipment, as well as scholarships and financial assistance for campers.

The day will include performances by Trust Tree campers, Better Get Your Britches and Waco Kids. Activities for kids and grown-ups include the Museum of Discovery’s Tinkering Studio, a photo booth, face painting, zine-making, vinyl record painting and more. Seasonal snacks and refreshments will also be available, along with beer from Lost Forty.

Trust Tree is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization offering music, arts and leadership camps and programs to girls in central Arkansas. Led by a team of female arts educators, current programs include summer songwriting, recording and visual art camps.

Though Halloween will have already passed, costumes are encouraged. The event is free and will happen rain or shine.
