Susan Barr, M.D.
UROGYNECOLOGY
Dr. Susan Barr became the first fellowship-trained and board-certified urogynecologist in Arkansas after returning home to Little Rock in 2011. After medical school at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, she pursued her OB-GYN residency and urogynecology fellowship at St. Louis University, gaining specialized surgical training that combines gynecologic, urologic and colorectal techniques.
In 2024, she and Dr. Oliphant launched Arkansas Urogynecology and Women’s Health to improve women’s lives through specialized care of pelvic floor disorders. Their personalized approach combines a variety of treatments, including conservative measures, medications, office-based procedures and surgeries. In addition to her clinical work, Barr is active in the American Urogynecologic Society and enjoys mentoring young professionals. She loves to exercise, travel with family and cheer for her son on the ballfield.
