Gastroenterology
When it comes to Dr. Brian McGee’s philosophy, putting the patient first is paramount. He says that humanism and compassion were instilled in him long before he became a doctor and are second nature. He says, “My ancestors, parents, wife, family and mentors make me who I am and help propel me forward every day. They bring me joy, and I share this honor with them.”
Away from medicine, Dr. McGee enjoys spending time with his wife, Lara, and four children, Leyla and triplets nicknamed MCG3, riding his bike, reading, traveling and watching nearly any sport.
Dr. McGee is double board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in gastroenterology and internal medicine, and this year he was appointed to the Arkansas State Medical Board by Governor Asa Hutchinson. He is also a member of C.H.A.D. — Colorectal Health Advocates & Doctors — whose mission is to “X out (eradicate) colon cancer.” Visit wearechad.org to learn more.
“In recognizing the humanity of our fellow beings, we pay ourselves the highest tribute.”
