It’s no wonder that local favorite Mylo Coffee Co. has some of the best hot drinks in town. Their hot chocolate is crafted with Swiss Barry Callebaut chocolate (the world’s leading supplier of high-quality chocolate), making it a smooth and sweet winter treat. Mylo’s hot cocoa comes topped with pretty latte art for the low price of three bucks. It doesn’t get much better.
One Eleven Café / Miel III
For your next coffee run, slip away to the Capital Hotel for their decadent Café Miel. Their take on the miel mixes espresso with steamed milk, honey and vanilla, dusted with nutmeg. The saucer of cinnamon-infused whipped cream on the side is the real game changer. Don’t feel guilty pouring the whole thing into your miel. It’s what the French would do.

If you’re looking to switch up your hot chocolate repertoire, look no further than Loblolly. The beloved creamer offers a variety of hot cocoas including lavender, peppermint, classic and Mexican. The Mexican blends hot cocoa, cinnamon, vanilla extract, nutmeg, white chocolate chips and a dash of cayenne pepper to add a little kick to this winter favorite.

You can’t go wrong with any of the drinks on Boulevard’s menu, but a classic cappuccino with lavender syrup is a good place to start. If you stop in for a pick-me-up while Boulevard’s beloved longtime barista Kara Bibb is working, she can craft a beautiful latte art heart on top, which she says is her specialty.
