About me: I have been the executive director of the Paris Area Chamber of Commerce for nine years and a Paris City Council Member for seven years. I am a graduate of Community Development Institute and a professional community and economic developer. I am a graduate of Russellville Regional Leadership Academy, Leadership Arkansas Class XVII and serve as the director of the Leadership Logan County Academy.
My husband Brian and I have five children and five grandchildren. In my free time, I love to visit Arkansas State Parks, travel to the beach and try new foods. Recently I became a wedding officiant and have performed over 10 weddings, primarily at our iconic Eiffel Tower. Most importantly, I am so thankful for the blessings God has provided me.

Lesson Learned the Hard Way: Don’t take criticism personally, but let it help you become a better leader. Make decisions that are best for the organization and recognize you won’t please everyone. Also, having a backup plan in all scenarios is a great lesson in building a strong organization.
Proudest Moment of Impact: I am proud to have established the Main Street Paris as well as the Logan County Leadership programs. Developing a new Main Street Paris program started the revitalization of our downtown and continues today to build stronger businesses. The Logan County Leadership program is growing strong leaders that are working for the betterment of our community. Each of these programs are a great source of pride and near to my heart.
What Keeps Me Motivated: The desire to see my community grow and thrive keeps me motivated professionally. Personally, I strive to be a role model to our children and to make my grandparents proud. Ultimately, we are not remembered by the job we have, but by the lives we change.
