About me: I am the CEO of KHARIS Group and the founder and chairwoman of the Nonprofit Summit of Northeast Arkansas. My company teaches nonprofits to soar in income, impact and influence.
I am a 2004 honors graduate of Blytheville High School and an alumnus of Arkansas State University, graduating with a bachelor of arts in political science and with a master’s in public administration.
In January 2018, I founded the Over a Cup Initiative to accelerate and empower minority women-led businesses in northeast Arkansas. Over a Cup is the only current advocacy initiative geared toward Black women in the entrepreneur space in the state of Arkansas.
I am married to my high school sweetheart of nearly 20 years. Together we have four amazing daughters and one wonderful son.

Best Career Advice: “Being given unconditional love is the greatest benefit you can ever get.” – Warren Buffet. Money is the lowest form of blessings. Prioritize your priorities over monetary considerations and you will attract abundance in all areas, including finances. The person who is only focused on the bottom line eventually hits bottom.
Lesson Learned the Hard Way: I have lost clients, gotten off track and been distracted way too many times than I want to admit that led to an unhealthy over-ambition. Discipline and consistency are sister qualities to success and should be held in as high regard as we revere our schedules, calendars and status.
Call to Action: I want my fellow Arkansans to know the real faces of philanthropy are not characterized by major gift contributions, lineage or social status. This state has survived by hardworking people investing their own time, talent and treasures at the highest levels. Their names may not be plastered on a stadium, library or bank tower, but I want people to be aware that we can attribute our state’s progress to the heroes of giving.
